Candidates and Budget Night 2024 Recap

The Candidates and Budget Night was held on Tuesday, May 21 at Freedom Hall. Members of the Prudential Committee, Water and Fire Commissions, and Fire Department presented their FY2025 budgets and provided an overview of their warrant articles that will be voted on at the Annual District Meeting on Wednesday, May 29 at 7:30pm.

In addition to the individual Commission and Committee presentations, candidates who are running for open positions each took a few minutes to (re)introduce themselves to the meeting attendees and talk about their candidacy. Mark Lynch is running unopposed for re-election to the Prudential Committee. Mark Robinson is running unopposed for re-election to the Board of Water Commissioners. Newcomer Christopher Ross is running unopposed for the Board of Fire Commissioners.

Here’s the information that was presented at the meeting:

Special thanks to Jen Nash, Lisa Vasiloff, and Adam Zais for the work they did to record the meeting for those who couldn’t attend in person.
