Thanks to everyone who came out this past Saturday for our annual “Christmas in Cotuit” celebration! The village was alive with holiday cheer as friends and neighbors joined in on the fun all around town. From painting ornaments and playing lawn games at the Historical Society to shopping for handmade treasures at the craft fair in Freedom Hall, decorating cookies at the library, and exploring the art fair featuring local artists and photographers at Cotuit Federated Church, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
A highlight of the day was Santa’s arrival by boat at the Town Dock, courtesy of the Cotuit Fire Department. While the crowd eagerly awaited his appearance, DJ Lisa kept the festive spirit alive with her upbeat music and energy. The day concluded with a walk to Memorial Park for the tree lighting—a perfect way to usher in the holiday season!
Many thanks to our local business community for their generous support in making it such a special day: Cotuit Fresh Market, Courtside Cafe at Kings Grant, Bartlett Tree, Cotuit Garage, and the design students at Cape Cod Regional Tech HS.
As always, we deeply appreciate the support of our members, whose generosity makes this beloved holiday tradition possible.
Special thanks to Sue Malomo, Phil Odence, and Carol Zais for capturing beautiful moments from the dock and Memorial Park. If you have photos from the day’s events that you’d like to share, please email csca@cotuitcivicassociation.org, and we’ll add them to the gallery.
