I look forward to seeing many of you at the 4th of July Parade. The registration form for floats, antique cars, and walking groups is now available online on our website.
In case of inclement weather, please check our website and Facebook page for parade updates, too.
This year’s parade will have a new marching band and the US Air Force 102nd Intelligence Wing Color Guard! And Civic Association board members will again be handing out a limited number of commemorative ribbons.
The parade starts at 11 a.m., but Main Street and all its feeder roads along the parade route will be closed starting at 10 a.m., so be sure to alert all your guests to arrive early. See page 2 for parade parking do’s and don’ts. As always, we need volunteers to assist in crowd control and helping to ensure a safe event. Anyone interested in helping should email cotuitevents@gmail.com.
See you at the parade!
And on the evening of Friday, July 5, look out for runners in the Cotuit Firecracker Classic 5K road race, which benefits the Civic Association and other local non-profits. To
register and view the course, visit semcsports.com. Registration is $37 for adults, but members of the Civic Association can use code COTUITSANTUIT for a $5 discount.
