This Friday evening, ICON Architecture will present the findings of the Cotuit School Feasibility Study. The presentation will be held via Zoom and is open to all interested residents. Please note: this is an informational session only—no votes will be taken during the meeting.

What Is the Study About?
In May 2024, Cotuit voters approved an article at the Special District Meeting directing the District to fund a professional analysis of the former Cotuit Elementary School property at 140 Old Oyster Road. ICON Architecture was hired to conduct a feasibility study exploring two primary options:
Restoration and Reuse: Assess the feasibility and estimate the cost of restoring and rehabilitating all or part of the former school building for use by district residents, including potential recreational or community purposes.
Demolition and Restoration: Evaluate the cost of demolishing the existing building and restoring the site to a natural state.
The goal of this presentation is to share the findings of this study and help inform the community ahead of any future decision-making.
